Feb 12, 2023 · S-Tier. The best traits in Project Zomboid are Short Sighted, High Thirst and Weak Stomach, they are examples of traits that cause little to no inconvenience and or are easy to fix. Short Sighted only affects foraging radius and makes no difference to actual perception sight. High Thirst is easily fixed with a bottle of water. Conspicuous, on the other hand, is considered "free trait points" by some people, because sneaking is not as reliable as clearing your way nice and steady, luring zombies in packs of 1-3 and killing them by little. I mostly run conspicuous, but I'd probably choose none in CDDA start because of multiple reasons.This is in reference to build 40 & 41. Also applies to car trunk repairs. You will get maintenance xp from using your weapon. You have a chance not to use durability when you use it (you will not get xp if you use durability).Short Sighted (+2) It's easy to draw a line between Project Zomboid builds with Foraging builds and non-Foraging builds. This trait can also be given by taking the Veteran profession, or killing enough zeds. I never use it really, doesn't make a lot of sense imo. Short-sighted isn't actually too bad, but eyeglass functionality would be nice. Maybe this trait could be renamed to Near-Sighted and Far-Sighted, with different visual cones.
