I actually tried using alkaline batteries and my instax mini 11 finally worked. (These were actually the free batteries that came free with the camera. Thought they were cheapos that wouldn't last, so I skipped em) The issue was that I tried using rechargeables (NiMH), heavy duty (zinc carbon) and NiCd batteries.
