The combat was so solid that every sequel was just a refinement rather than a total evolution of the system, and over a decade later Asylum's combat is still better than most modern AAA titles. They struck gold with that system. The atmosphere of the game is also unparalleled. Troy baker does a solid joker but from the countless people they could've gotten for batman I think Roger Craig Smith was one of the worst options imo. The Batman voice actors in young justice, under the red hood, even Ben Mckenzie who did batman in batman year one would be more fitting than Roger Craig Smith.Arkham Bats is strong, but his villains are combatively (edit: and comparatively*) featless. Comic Batman, at least the current canon one, has several decades' worth of fighting experience condensed into his timeline against everything from his usual rogues gallery to aliens and gods.This is how Batman rolls, baby. The Knightfall protocol wasn’t simply faking his death; it was removing his identity as Bruce Wayne. Bruce enacted the protocol to destroy his identity, in public’s eye; and his own. Put simply, all that left is Batman. Batman was a symbol; the symbol was tainted by Bruce’s identity. I think there might be other fights that are harder because of wonky controls (a lot of the tank stuff in Knight just doesn’t feel all that “deliberate”), but Freeze is definitely the hardest one by design, if that makes sense. I actually didn't mind the MJ missions and I didn't mind the Batmobile either. Arkham Knight had much better side missions than either of the PS4 Spiderman games did, but OG PS4 Spiderman had better DLC than Arkham Knight. I did like the ability to play as Batgirl/Robin/Nightwing etc though.. Real cheaters xxx
