The bull emblem on the grip is a little different, and the newer gun has “G2C” in big letters on the right side of the slide. Looking a little closer I notice a few other differences. The G2C doesn't say PT-111 on the slide. There aren’t a lot for the Taurus G2. That is just something you’re going to get with a budget handgun.
