Not getting turtle shells? I've been farming giant tortoises for the bast two hours. They have a 5.88% chance of dropping a turtle shell. It's quite a rare drop rate, you're just having bad luck. It's a 5.88% chance to drop meaning you'll have to kill around 17 to get one, and depending on your RNG it can take more or fewer.
