recently started my first calamity playthrough. Expert/revengeance difficulty. True melee gameplay is just laughably impossible. On every boss i need to calculate exact distance to reach them with my weapon but not get hit because weapon size is exactly the same as in vanilla Terria and vanilla terraria was not even designed to be played as a true melee.True melee in Calamity refers to using melee weapons that do not have ranged or magic capabilities.
